With many years of experience and a well established personal practice , Arlene teaches with a focus on creating strength, flexibility through developing mindful awareness to body, breath and mind. Her yoga classes concentrate on the maintenance and restoration of health and cater for all levels of ability regardless of prior experience.
Arlene teaches in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya, where classes are adapted to suit the specific needs and capabilities of each individual. She loves guiding students to establish a deep body-breath connection, and uses that as the solid base for developing all other aspects of holistic wellbeing.
Arlene’s passion is working with people of all ages and at all stages of life, to help them in developing health and wellbeing. She has also been a pre-natal Yoga teacher for many years and loves how Yoga can help women through the intense transformations of pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood.
Arlene continues to study at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandarim (KYM), Krishnamacharya Healing Yoga Foundation (KHYF) in Chennai, Southern India.
